Deonne Wright, RN, CRNI, RA, is a registered nurse with over 26 years nursing experience, certification as an Infusion Nurse, and national registration in aromatherapy. Her experience ranges from neonate to geriatric and staff nurse to manager. She has expertise in IV therapy, pain management, end of life care, enteral therapy, and performance improvement. She currently works in southern Oregon for the Asante Health System in Home Health Care and Hospice; there her holistic skills are utilized in connecting the meaning of the home environment to the patient’s healing and/or transition experience.
Deonne holds a pivotal position as the elected chair of the hospital-based Professional Practice and Development Council as well as the Home Care Unit-based Council chair. In striving for excellence in patient care delivery, the Council chose the Relationship-Based Care Model of nursing. Deonne’s holistic leadership is a bridge for creating the culture of caring required to successfully orchestrate the integration of this environmental shift. In facilitating this change, Deonne writes a monthly column for, and assists in editing The Torch, the monthly nursing newsletter which communicates the progress on this journey to excellence.
Deonne also has a private practice in which she incorporates many holistic healing modalities as she is guided. She is trained in:
