Marilyn’s role is RN Recruitment Coordinator for MedSurg and Dialysis in Providence Health and Services of Oregon. Her professional career spans 30 years and include positions held in the following levels: Staff, manager and director in nursing. She has experience in oncology, medsurg, telemetry, critical care, psych, ethics, management development and quality improvement. Ms. Watkins past specialty certification was in Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) and currently is in Holistic Nurse
Certification (HNC).

Marilyn Watkins’ vision is to bring holistic nursing to the daily operations in acute care settings. As a nurse recruiter, her role is one of service to others assuring that all are provided with respect, supported in their work, and receive communication with follow-up to achieve their goals and demonstrate the Providence Mission.
